Message from the Chair
Welcome to the New England Chapter of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). Our chapter is comprised of around 400 members from all six New England states.
As we embark on the final quarter of this calendar year, we’ve got some excited things planned.
In September, David DuBois, President & CEO of IAEE, led us in our Fall Educational Event at the newly renovated Boston Park Plaza. The session focused on current and future exhibitions and event trends, and David was joined by a panel of seasoned professionals, each focused on a different segment within our industry.
On October 19th, we will co-sponsor Johnson & Wales University’s School of Hospitality’s 3rd Annual SEEM (Sports Entertainment Event Management) Leadership Conference for an incredible day of keynotes, panel discussions, networking, and a not-to-be missed elevator pitch competition. And thanks to our sponsorship, and a generous offer from Johnson & Wales, members of the IAEE New England Chapter are invited to participate at no cost.
Finally, to round out an incredible year, we invite all of you who will attend Expo! Expo! 2016 to join us for our chapter reception at the Anaheim Marriott on December 6th. We hope to see you there!
For more information on any of these events, please visit our events page.
Our members come from all walks of life and bring a wide variety of knowledge from across the events and hospitality industry. Through networking, events, and social media, this information and these relationships are right at your fingertips! If you are not a member please reach out to us regarding joining our thriving chapter, today.
The New England Chapter aims to inspire those who inspire others, through education and recognition. I encourage our likeminded members to reach out to me directly with any ideas you may have or things you would like to see happen to better our members and strengthen the communities that we live and work in. With your help, and the diligence and creativity of our board, we aim to produce many educational, social and charitable events this coming year.
I am proud to serve as the chair and even more proud to work in such a creative, vibrant and impactful industry.
Thank you for taking interest in our page and in our chapter. Should you have any questions, comments or suggestions, I’d love to hear from you.
Peter Abraham, CEM
